Graduate Research Conference- UAEU

Our team members from the BBC lab participated in the Graduate Research Conference held at UAE University. Rasha Nasser, Sarah Alkhatib, Deema Islayem,  Nazmi Alsaafeen, Khulood Alshehhi and Nada Morsy showcased their research through both poster and oral presentations, contributing to the vibrant exchange of knowledge and innovation at the event.

American Chemical Society Conference-NYUAD

Molecular and Cellular Biology Conference-KU

Our students Nabila Yasmeen, Deema Islayem, Jawaher Alhammadi, Nada Morsi, Rasha Nasser and Mano Govindharaj participated in the Molecular and Cellular Biology Conference held at Khalifa University. We are proud to share that Nabila Yasmeen received the award for Best Poster Presentation, and Nada Morsi was recognized with the Second Best Podium Presentation award.

Teaching Certificate Program-KU

Teaching plays a vital role in the professional growth of postdocs, enhancing skills, introducing new techniques, and refining traditional teaching styles. At Khalifa University, postdocs like Akbar Ali, Nabila Yasmeen, and our PhD student Sara Alkahteeb had the opportunity to join a teaching certificate program, thanks to the encouragement of their advisors, Anna-Maria Pappa and Charalampos Pitsalidis.

Hackathon-KU

A group of talented students from our group participated in the university's annual Hackathon, showcasing their innovative problem-solving skills and technical expertise. The event, which gathers some of the brightest minds from across the university, provided a platform for students to collaborate, create, and compete in developing novel solutions to real-world challenges.

Genome Systems XII Conference-NYUAD

Sarah Alkahteeb recently participated in the prestigious Genome Systems XII conference, hosted by the Center for Genomics and Systems Biology (CGSB) at NYU Abu Dhabi. The conference brought together leading researchers and scholars from around the world to discuss the latest advancements in genomics and systems biology.
